How does Starbucks Rewards™ program work?
You automatically join the Starbucks Rewards™ program after you make an account and your Starbucks Card is registered. In this program there are 2 tiers:
Green Tier – You get this status automatically after you register.
Gold Tier – You get this status automatically after you’ve earned 300 Stars in 1 year period since you earned your first Star. To maintain your Gold status, you need to earn another 300 Stars in the following year.
What is a Star?
Stars are teh loyalty currency you earn as a member of Starbucks® Rewards that can be redeemed for choices of Rewards such as free or discounted items at Starbucks. Stars can only be redeemed through Starbucks® Indonesia mobile app.
How can I earn Stars?
There are several ways to earn Stars:
- Simply pay with your registered Starbucks Card or scanning your membership account barcode in the Starbucks® Indonesia mobile app every time you make a purchase at any Starbucks location in Indonesia.
- You can earn (1) Star per Rp6.000,- spent when you use your membership account balance or your registered Starbucks Card balance.
- You can earn (1) Star per Rp12.000,- spent using other methods of payment (cash/debit card/credit card/QRIS/other electronic money) after scanning your registered membership account barcode in your Starbucks Indonesia App or on your registered Starbucks Card.
- You can earn (1) Star per Rp12.000,- spent after ordering through GrabFood delivery after linking your Starbucks Rewards membership account with the GrabFood app.
- You can earn Bonus Stars through Double Star Days, programs, and personalized offers. The number of Bonus Stars can vary with each offer.
What are the benefit for Green Members?
Green members in Starbucks Rewards™ can:
- Convert collected Stars into the following Reward options
o 30 Stars for a Free Selected Add-On: Espresso Shot/ Syrup/ Sauce
o 60 Stars for a Free Tall sized Americano or Brewed Tea
o 120 Stars for any Free Tall sized Handcrafted Beverage or any Food
- Birthday Treats on your Birthday:
o 25 Bonus Stars
o Birthday Cake Reward
o 2x Stars on your transaction
What are the benefits for Gold Members?
Gold members in Starbucks Rewards™ gets all Green members benefits with extra privileges:
Upgraded value on Rewards by redeeming your collected Stars:
o 120 Stars for any Free up to Grande sized Handcrafted Beverage or any Food
o 240 Stars for a Free selected core Whole Bean
o 400 Stars for a 25% off selected Merchandise

What is Bonus Star? How to get Bonus Star?
Bonus Star is an additional Star that you might be eligible to earn by completing certain criteria. Periodically, there will be an opportunity to earn Bonus Stars through various and exclusive offers or programs.
What is Bonus Reward? How to get Bonus Reward?
Bonus Rewards are additional Rewards that you might be eligible to earn by completing certain criteria. Periodically, there will be an opportunity to earn Bonus Rewards through various and exclusive offers that are uniquely prepared for you. Bonus Reward validity period may vary from one offer to another.
Will I get my Birthday Reward if I registered to Starbucks Rewards on my birth date?
No you won’t, you have to be registered for a minimum of 1 month before your birth date to enjoy the Birthday Reward. You will get the Birthday Reward in the following year and every year thereafter.
Are all Starbucks Cards eligible for Starbucks Rewards™ benefits?
Only registered Starbucks cards can collect Stars and Rewards. If you have more than one registered Starbucks Card on your account, all Stars and Rewards earned will accumulate in one registered account.
How to redeem a Reward in-App?
To redeem a Reward in-App, first you must log-in to your Starbucks account > choose button Redeem ☆ > choose your Reward options by click on use xx ☆ until it shows a redemption success prompt > then your new Reward will be added under the Reward details tab. If you don’t see your recently converted Rewards, please refresh the Reward details tab / page.
How to redeem a Reward in-store?
To redeem a Reward in-store, first you must scan your Starbucks Rewards account in Starbucks App or scan your registered Starbucks Card in our cashier, and then tell our Barista the name of Reward you want to redeem. Reward redemptions are valid for in-store transactions.
Is it allowed to redeem Rewards in-store using other payment methods?
Yes, are allowed to use any method of payment to redeem any kind of Reward you have at all Starbucks Indonesia stores as long as you scan your Starbucks Rewards account in Starbucks App or scan your registered Starbucks Card.
If I make a partial payment with my Starbucks Card, will I earn Stars on the product I buy?
Yes, you can split your payment in stores on a transaction using Starbucks balance (as your main method of payment) and any other method of payment (cash/ credit card or debit card). You will still earn Stars on your purchase.
Does the Reward have a validity period?
Yes, the validity of your Core Reward is 30 days from the date you redeem the Stars (timestamp apply). Other Rewards from personalized programs or campaigns may vary in validity period.
Does the Star have a validity period?
Yes, currently the validity period of your Star is 12 months from the date you earn each Star. This rule may change at any time with a minimum of 1 months’ notice prior to the effective date of change.
How can I find out the validity period of my Reward?
You can see the validity period of your Reward by logging in through Starbucks® Indonesia mobile app > click “Reward Details”.
What is a Starbucks Card?
Starbucks Card is a stored value card that you can use as a payment form at any Starbucks in Indonesia. You must activate and register your Starbucks Card to join the Starbucks Rewards™ program to get access to Starbucks Rewards™ features and benefits.
How can I activate a Starbucks Card?
You can activate the Starbucks Card in all Starbucks stores in Indonesia (except at Starbucks in airports) by loading the initial balance with a minimum of Rp 100.000 and a maximum of Rp 2.000.000 in your Starbucks Card. There is no administration fee or fee for usage.
How do I register my card?
Download Starbucks® Indonesia mobile app or visit www.starbucks.co.id/card to create an account and register your card. You'll need your card with you and follow the instructions to register your card.
How many Starbucks Card can be registered?
You can register all your cards by logging in online or with the Starbucks® Indonesia mobile app through “Add Card” function. There is no maximum number of Starbucks cards that can be registered on your account.
What can I purchase using my Starbucks Card?
The Starbucks Card can be used to purchase anything in our store from your favorite beverage, food to the latest merchandise.
How can I find out the balance in my Starbucks Card?
Once you have registered your card through Starbucks® Indonesia mobile app or by logging on to www.starbucks.co.id/card, you can check your balance in your card. Additionally, your remaining card balance is printed on the receipt after every transaction, or you can ask our cashier to check your balance.
How do I top up my Starbucks Card?
You can top up your Starbucks Card at any Starbucks location in Indonesia (except stores at the airport) with cash and debit or through “Top Up/ Reload” feature that can be accessed from Starbucks® Indonesia mobile app and www.starbucks.co.id/card.
What is Virtual Account? How to top-up my Starbucks Card using Virtual Account?
Virtual account (Va) is a destination account created by selected bank and is intended to top-up the balance of certain Starbucks Card from specific account. This can be done by log-in to your account through www.starbucks.co.id/card or Starbucks® Indonesia mobile app, select "Top Up / Reload", select “nominal number”, select "payment confirmation", select “bank and payment method” and follow the payment instructions.
Can I load or top up a Starbucks Card with another Starbucks Card?
No, you cannot load or top up a Starbucks Card with another Starbucks Card.
Can I pay using multiple Starbucks Cards in one transaction?
No, only one Starbucks Card may be used in a single transaction.
Can I reuse my Starbucks Card?
Definitely! Your Starbucks Cards are reloadable and reusable. You can top up your Starbucks Card with cash or debit card in any of our stores in Indonesia (except Starbucks store in Indonesia airports).
Can I return a Starbucks Card that I have purchased or received as gift recently and request for a refund?
No you can’t. All Starbucks Card purchased or received are non-refundable and not exchangeable for cash.
How does Starbucks protect my privacy after I register my Starbucks Card?
Can I update my personal particulars on my Starbucks Card?
Yes, you can view or update your personal particulars (except for birth date and email address) through Starbucks® Indonesia mobile app or by logging in on www.starbucks.co.id/card. If you experience problems in updating your data, please contact Customer Care (021) 1500 078.
Will my Starbucks Card be recognized at all Starbucks stores?
he Starbucks Card is accepted at all Starbucks locations in Indonesia. For further details please visit www.starbucks.co.id/card
Can I purchase a Starbucks Card in Indonesia and use it in another country?
Starbucks card issued in Indonesia can only be used at Starbucks store locations in Indonesia. We are unable to perform any transaction, including top-ups, when using Starbucks Cards from other countries.
When using my Starbucks Card, will I still get a discount if I bring my Tumbler/Mug when buying a drink?
Yes, you will still receive a discount on your beverage with using your own Tumbler/Mug.
What should I do if my Starbucks Card is lost, stolen or damaged?
If the card has been registered, you can deactivate and protect your balance. It's easy; just go through the Starbucks® Indonesia mobile app or log in to your account at www.starbucks.co.id/card and then click the "Report Loss of Card" menu. If you experience technical problems, please contact Customer Care at (021) 1500 078.
After the lost card is deactivated, you can activate a new card at the nearest Starbucks store then add a new card to the same account through the Starbucks® Indonesia mobile app or by logging in on www.starbucks.co.id/card and choose "Add Card" menu. After the card has been added successfully, please contact Customer Care at (021) 1500 078 for assistance in transferring the balance from the lost card to the new card. Please note, Starbucks Indonesia does not provide replacement of your lost, stolen or damaged Starbucks Card .Only the remaining balance can be transferred to a new card.
I want to ensure the balance on my account is safe and not misused. What can I do?
Your balance is safe, as long as you do not inform your Starbucks card number or password to another party. We encourage you to periodically change your password for better security and convenient while using Starbucks card.
If there are system outages / offline interferences at Starbucks stores, can I still make purchases using my Starbucks Cards and get Stars?
When there’s system outage / offline, you can still get Stars equivalent to your purchase amount when the system is back online. You will be encouraged to make a purchase using other methods of payment besides your Starbucks balance, but you need to scan your account barcode / Starbucks Card during the transaction.

What benefit can I get when I use the Starbucks® Indonesia mobile app?
If you download and register via the Starbucks® Indonesia mobile app, you will get all the benefits of a registered Starbucks Card registered member, among others:
- Monitor the number of Stars and Rewards that you have collected

- Events information that are running at Starbucks
- Order through Mobile Order that’s available in the app.

What is mobile payment? How to use it?
Mobile payment is a feature in Starbucks® Indonesia mobile app that allows you to make payment from your Starbucks Card in our stores. Once you are logged in, simply tap ‘Pay’ to make a payment.
What is Mobile Order?
The Starbucks® Indonesia app now presents you with a convenient way to seamlessly order ahead, pay and customize your favorites for pickup in our selected participating stores without waiting in line. With Mobile Order & Pay you’ll still be able to earn and collect Stars for every purchase.
How do I change my primary card on the App?
Tap ‘Pay’ menu, choose the card you want to select as your primary card, tap ‘Set as default card’.
I forgot my Starbucks App Payment passcode, how to reset my passcode?
You can reset your passcode by signing out from Starbucks app and then signing back in and create new passcode once you’re logged in.
