Starbucks Indonesia and The Starbucks Foundation Support the Rebuilding of Schools After Bali Flood
In September 2025, Bali was struck by days of torrential rain, triggering severe flooding across Badung Regency, Denpasar and Gianyar. In addition to lives lost, the disaster displaced thousands of families and damaged hundreds of public facilities, including schools and health centers. In response, Starbucks partners (employees) in Denpasar quickly mobilized to support their communities, helping clean up flood-affected areas, assisting with rebuilding efforts, and offering warm cups of coffee to bring comfort during difficult times.

The Starbucks Foundation reaffirmed its support by donating US$10,000 to Save the Children to aid communities affected by the Bali floods. The funds will support the recovery of two heavily impacted schools in Denpasar, helping restore safe and functional learning environments for students.
“Our hearts are with everyone impacted by the recent floods, and we are honored to support recovery efforts in partnership with Save the Children. With the added involvement of our partners on the ground, we aim to deliver meaningful community impact and provide comfort and connection to those who need it most,”
